S.R. Smith acquires All Fibreglass Products

S.R. Smith LLC is expanding its commercial aquatics operations with the acquisition of (AFP), a manufacturer of swimming pool bulkheads and swim walls.

The deal includes AFP’s assets and intellectual property, and SRS Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of S.R. Smith, will operate the business.

“We are excited about this acquisition as it adds value to the AntiWave Australia recreational and competitive pool product business we acquired in 2013 by expanding our commercial product offerings,” says S.R. Smith’s CEO and president, Rich Laitta. “It is also in line with our global product platform direction, and allows us to offer these products outside of Australia.”

SRS Australia’s general manager, Keith Hall, adds:

“Bulkheads and swim walls are an effective means of increasing pool use by optimizing the total pool area. They can be installed in new and existing pools, providing aquatic facility operators with significant revenue expansion opportunities by providing multiple operational zones within a single commercial pool.”
