Pool chemical manufacturer Spec Chem Direct has entered an agreement with Lo-Chlor Chemicals Australia to be the exclusive distributor of its chemical products in North America.
Spec Chem, based in Kent, Wash., has been operating in the U.S. for almost two years and, now with this partnership, has increased its product offering from seven to 20 different specialty chemicals that are only sold to brick-and-mortar dealers.
“It makes sense to partner with a fast-growing, high-end specialty chemical manufacturer like SpecChem Direct to accelerate our product exposure in North America,” says Paul Simons, Lo-Chlor Chemicals Australia’s CEO. “I especially like their direct sales model that benefits dealers and consumers.”
