Following two successful training events earlier this year, Spider Tie Canada Inc., will hold an additional demonstration day on July 5 at Dufferin Concrete’s ready-mix plant in Toronto, Ont.
During the event, contractors will take part in forming and building two reinforced curved concrete walls using the company’s wall forming system. Both walls will be approximately 6.1 m (20 ft) long by 1.2 m (4 ft) high. To demonstrate the capabilities of the forming system, one wall will be constructed in a curved ‘S’ shape, while the other will be straight with a 90-degree bend.
The event is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and conclude with a free lunch. There is no charge to attend the training session; however, due to space constraints at the concrete plant, RSVP is required.
