The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto and Niagara chapter’s billboard and radio ad campaign promotes hiring a member, as well as the new Poolsaver variable-speed pump rebate program.

The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto chapter, in collaboration with the Niagara chapter, has launched its 2017 billboard campaign.

To cover as much territory as possible, the chapters selected seven different billboard locations strategically located throughout the Greater Toronto Area, along Highway 11, and the Niagara region. This year the association is promoting two messages: the Poolsaver pump rebate program (in Scarborough and Etobicoke); and how consumers can protect their backyard investment by hiring a PHTCC member.

The Poolsaver program is exclusive to class 5, 9, and 12 PHTCC members (retailers, builders, and service companies) and offered by Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills utilities. It offers a $400 rebate when a consumer upgrades their pool pump from a constant-speed to a variable-speed model. To become eligible to participate in this program, PHTCC member vendors must review the utility’s online training presentation and complete a quiz. During the Toronto chapter’s training days held earlier this month, more than 200 members participated in the in-class Poolsaver program.

The goal of the Poolsaver billboard is to inform the consumer about the program, while the other billboard message, “Protect your invest—Hire a member,” urges consumers to hire a PHTCC member, as they are educated professionals which adhere to the association’s strict code of ethics.

Seven billboards went up on April 17 and will be visible for six to eight weeks (depending on location). Starting April 24, a radio ad[4] and traffic update sponsorship will air on 680 News for three weeks.
