Toronto chapter billboard campaign targets cottage goers
The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto Chapter’s billboard campaign targets consumers travelling north to cottage country along highway 400.

The Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada’s (PHTCC’s) Toronto Chapter’s billboard campaign was launched in mid-May, prior to the Victoria Day long weekend, promoting the motto ‘Traffic or Tranquility.’

This marketing initiative was announced at the chapter’s annual general meeting (AGM) earlier this year. The advertising is located on highway 400 northbound, 1.5 km (1 mile) north of Finch Avenue. According to the chapter, the billboard will be on display until Aug. 18, making sure to catch cottage-goers attention, especially on long weekends throughout the summer.

In addition to showing a relaxing backyard environment, the billboard also includes the campaign’s dedicated URL (http://www.nocottagecommute.ca/), which directs consumers to the chapter’s new website to learn more about the advantages of owning a backyard swimming pool and/or hot tub or to locate a Toronto chapter member company in their area.
