Trade show season quickly approaches

The new affiliation agreement between the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada (PHTCC) and Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) provides several benefits to builder members of both associations this coming show season.

As part of the new deal, which was officially announced at last year’s Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo, APSP-affiliated membership status is extended to Class #5 and #12 PHTCC members, which allows them to participate in courses and events at the APSP member rate.

PHTCC members planning to attend this year’s International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo (IPSPE), which will take place Nov. 7-12 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., will receive the member discount for the ‘Super Pass,’ ‘Conference Day Pass,’ ‘Expo Only Pass,’ and ‘APSP Courses.’ To secure the ‘early-bird’ pricing for these events, PHTCC members must register using their new APSP member number before Sept. 22. According to the PHTCC, its Class #5 and #12 members will receive APSP membership packages in the mail in the coming weeks. Those who wish to register now can get their APSP member number by contacting Kristin Julia, the APSP’s education, certification, and membership account manager, via e-mail at kjulia@apsp.org[3].

PHTCC and APSP builder members will receive free ‘Expo-Only’ admission to the Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo, which will take place Nov. 30 to Dec. 3 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ont. Both association’s builder members will receive discounted pricing on the ‘Expo and Seminar/Short Course Package,’ Certified Pool Operator® (CPO®) Course, which will be offered in French and English, and the ‘Hot Topics-Hot Breakfast.’ Registration can be completed here[4], and there is no deadline this year.
