Trident Ultraviolet Corp., is setting up distribution and dealership networks for its ultraviolet (UV) product line after announcing plans to enter the North American pool and spa market.

Trident Group USA Ltd., the parent company of Trident Ultraviolet Corp., in Marina Del Rey, Calif., is now setting up North American distribution and dealership networks for its ultraviolet (UV) product line after the expiration of a non-compete agreement in January.

The company, which has not been able to offer its products in Canada, the U.S. or the European Union (EU) since 2005, offers a wide range of appliance-grade UV systems along with business development and dealer support programs.

“With the increased demand for UV systems, we feel the time has come for us to enter the North American market,” says Gary Rochelle, president, Trident Group USA. “This comes after the expiration of a non-compete agreement I had with another firm that bought my Delta UV business five years ago.

“In the past four years we have developed and field tested an extensive line of UV systems for residential and commercial swimming pools and hot tub original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), which we have sold in more than 24 countries outside North America.”
