The course, which will be taught on Dec. 2 and 3 by Martyn Knowles of PPL Aquatic, Fitness & Spa Group Inc., is developed by the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) and is designed to provide individuals with the basic knowledge, techniques, and skills of pool and spa operations. The CPO certification program is widely accepted by health departments throughout North America.

Upon registering, students will receive the NSPF Pool & Spa Operator™ Handbook, which includes the most current information available. Among the subjects to be addressed include water balance, pool water contamination, disinfection filtration, and water circulation.

Students who are successful in passing the test at the conclusion of the course will be provided with a certificate sent directly from the NSPF.
