Vancouver Coastal Health is warning people who visited a local spa about possible COVID-19 exposure in early August.

According to CTV News, the agency confirmed a patron who attended Scandinave Spa on Aug. 8 tested positive for COVID-19.

Scandinave Spa’s sales and marketing manager Michelle Leroux told CTV News in an email that only customers who visited on Aug. 8 were alerted, and they are unaware of any other related infections.

Vancouver Coastal Health inspected the property and conducted a full COVID-19 assessment, and deemed the spa’s safety protocols were “fully compliant,” according to Leroux.
