WhiteWater West, a manufacturer and installer of waterpark attractions in Richmond, B.C., has once again added to its portfolio of water-based amusement park rides with the recent acquisition of Wave Loch Inc., a manufacturer of wave pool products.
Prior to the acquisition, which includes the FlowRider,® FlowCurl,® Flow House, Wave-in-a-Box, and WaveOz® products, WhiteWater was the exclusive worldwide licensee of WaveLoch’s FlowRider® business.
“We are excited about the momentum this addition brings to WhiteWater’s innovation group of companies,” said the company’s Marshall Myrman, who will head the FlowRider and Waves business unit.
Wave Loch founder, Tom Lochtefeld will continue to market the WaveHouse and work on his surf pool business. Aquatic Development Group will continue to be the exclusive marketer and manufacturer of the FlowRider product line in the eastern Canadian and U.S. markets.
