WhiteWater West acquires wave-generating product line[1]
LatiTube, a line of customizable wave-generating products, has been acquired by WhiteWater West Industries, a manufacturer and installer of waterpark attractions in Richmond, B.C.

WhiteWater West Industries in Richmond, B.C., has acquired the LatiTube line of wave-generating products worldwide with the exception of New Zealand and Australia.

“We welcome Steve Kriticos and the LatiTube product line into the WhiteWater family,” said Geoff Chutter, CEO and founder of the company.

Marshall Myrman, WhiteWater West vice-president, FlowRider® and Waves, added: “Not only are we proud to have acquired LatiTube, but equally as proud to have the founder (Kriticos) join our wave division.”

The all-ages surfing attraction offers wave-generating products called the Pocket Single, Pocket Double, Pocket Outbreak, and Pocket PRO. LatiTube, which can be found at the Wet‘n’Wild waterpark in Sydney, Australia, is a surfing attraction for all ages, providing surfers with the experience of riding an ocean-like tube. The surfing wave-generator can accommodate riders of all abilities as the operator can easily adjust the wave to match the surfer’s movements and skill level via touchscreen controls.
