Registration is now open for Zodiac Pool Systems Canada Inc.’s new dealer training schools, which will start in the new year.
The one-day training schools, which were announced at the recent Canadian Pool & Spa Conference & Expo, will be held at select locations across Canada between January and April 2014. The schools are designed to help dealers prepare for the coming season as not only will they address sales, marketing and basic troubleshooting techniques, but also installation and an introduction to a number of the company’s new products.
Training schools are currently scheduled to take place at seven different locations in Ontario, one in Quebec, two in British Columbia and Alberta, and one each in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. All schools will start at 8 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Breakfast coffee, full lunch, and manuals will be provided.
“Zodiac feels it needs to invest and focus on dealer training; the recent economic downturn meant that certain areas of our operations were cut and this resulted in a lack of focus on education,” says Gary Scott, who will take on the position of national service and training manager on Jan. 1, 2014. “Going forward it is our intention to provide our dealers with enhanced opportunities to realize product training on our newest technologies and in a location nearby their place of business, not just in Eastern Canada, and not just in the largest population centres.”
