Zodiac multi-speed pumps earn Energy Star status

Zodiac Pool System’s line of Jandy® Pro Series variable- and two-speed swimming pool pumps are the latest to receive Energy Star® certification as part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) energy efficiency standards program.

The company has a total of 18 certified pumps, each rigorously tested and proven by a third party EPA-recognized laboratory. As a result, the VS-FloPro™ and ePump™ variable-speed series pumps, and Stealth,™ FloPro, and PlusHP two-speed series pumps now bare the Energy Star label.

“We’re excited to have our full line of variable- and two-speed pumps meet Energy Star certification requirements,” said Zodiac’s product manager for pumps and filters, Mike Giddens. “This gives both consumers and pool professionals a number of energy-efficient options to choose from.”
